The search has started for the Inverclyde sports people who have made the headlines during the season 1 June 2024 to 31 May 2025, culminating in a special awards event in the Greenock Town Hall on the evening of Friday 3rd October 2025. 

 

The 10 categories of award for 2024/2025 are the Inverclyde Senior Sports Personality of the Year, Junior Sports Personality of the Year, Disabled Sports Personality of the Year, Coach of the Year, Impact Club of the Year, Team of the Year, Sporting School Team of the Year, Young Volunteer Recognition Award (up to age 25), Adult Volunteer Recognition Award and the Lifetime Achievement Award.  

 

These special awards are once again organised by West College Scotland, Inverclyde Council through Active Schools, Inverclyde Leisure, and New Horizons Marketing with technical help from 8digital. Anyone, whether a club, official or individual can nominate in any and all of the 10 categories with the nominee’s permission online on this website with the closing dates for nominations being Monday 14th July 2025. 

 

Nominations, which should cover successes during the 2024/2025 season, this being 1 June 2024 to 31 May 2025, are warmly invited by the organisers who are also keen to welcome sponsorship of the various categories.
